FREMANTLE PARTNERS WITH MIXER FILMS FOR PRODUCTION IN BRAZIL

The deal marks a new approach for the company in the Brazilian market and will see Mixer Films representing Fremantle’s unscripted formats in Brazil.

Fremantle announced a strategic partnership with Brazilian production company Mixer Films. The deal marks a new approach for the company in the Brazilian market and will see Mixer Films representing Fremantle’s unscripted formats in Brazil.

Mixer Films is an award-winning Brazilian studio with a production slate that ranges from advertising to feature film, documentary to reality and drama. They work with key local and global players including Netflix, HBO, Discovery, UFC, Warner TV, FOX Brazil and Brazilian TV networks Globo (including their streaming service Globoplay, SBT, Band, TV Cultura and children’s channel Gloob.

The agreement with Mixer is part of a wider strategy of Fremantle that is aimed to grow the activity of the company in Latam. To lead this strategy and its execution Coty Cagliolo – previously head of Fremantle Mexico - was promoted to the newly created role of Head of Production for Fremantle in Latin America. The executive -who reports to Andrea Scrosati, Group COO, Fremantle - will continue to lead Fremantle Mexico in addition to her new wider role across the region.
