MEZZO BOUGHT TWO DANCE SHOWS FROM PRIME

The French channel picked up the documentaries “Eletro Kif” and “Robot!”, both based on the choreographies of Blanca Li.

Producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group has reached deal with French channel MEZZO for the documentaries “Eletro Kif” (1x67’) and “Robot!”(1x87’), both based on the choreographies of Blanca Li.

Head of Sales, Alexandra Marguerite says: “We are very happy to count the channel MEZZO among our partners. We are very happy to continue providing their channels with some of our best performing arts programs and biographical portraits of artists."

Since 1996, the channel MEZZO is established as the international benchmark for classical music, jazz and dance on television. Broadcast in more than 80 countries with a community of 60 million subscribers, MEZZO has become essential for the most demanding music lovers while offering a source of discovery accessible to the less experienced. Since April 2010, the MEZZO brand has been available in two complementary channels which offer different programs every month: Mezzo, the channel for artists, biographical documentaries and repertoires, and Mezzo Live HD with a programming dedicated to broadcasting shows, live music concerts and dance programs.

PRIME and MEZZO have been in business since 2008, for a number of documentaries dedicated to portraits of artists as well as jazz concerts. Mezzo selected from PRIME’s performing arts catalog “Count Basie at Carnegie Hall” (1x120’), “Saxophone Colossus Featuring Sunny Rollins” (1x58’), “Black Wax Featuring Gil Scott Héron” (1x79’), “Sun Ra: A Joyful noise” (1x60’), “Gospel according to Al Green” (1x94’) and the biographical documentary “Nat King Cole Stardust memories”.
