Can Yaman, lead actor at “Viola come il mare”
Lux Vide confirmed Turkish actor Can Yaman as the lead in its new light crime drama “Viola come il mare” which will begin filming in Rome and Palermo at the end of September in collaboration with RTI.
The new production also starring Francesca Chillemi, is a light crime that amalgamates elements of comedy and crime stories in the story and is inspired by Simona Tanzini's novel "Conosci l’estate?" posted by Sellerio.
On the other hand, Lux Vide also confirmed the remake of the blockbuster "Sandokan", a majestic international co-production born from an idea by Luca Bernabei, CEO of the company, and also starring Can Yaman.
After the international success of the 1976 television series in more than 85 countries, the great love story between East and West, which inspired entire generations to fight for freedom and equality, is ready to be revived with an unprecedented cut, fresh and modern, told from a feminine point of view.
