UNIMAS OUTSCORES ABC, NBC, AND THE CW WITH LIVE MEXICAN FOOTBALL

The figure reflects the majority of people among the audience range aged 18-34. The Liga MX’s Necaxa vs. América soccer match drove the numbers beyond ABC's numbers by 26% and NBC by 6% on Friday night.

UniMás’ Live Coverage of Liga MX Soccer on Friday night outperformed viewership rates from ABC, NBC and The CW, most commonly for adults aged 18-34.  The network reported primetime audience growth week-over-week to be +3% to 345,000, 12% to 180,000 for adults aged 18-49 and adults 18-34 with a 34% increase to 78,000. The CW was outscored during primetime among adults ages 18-49, with a 29% advantage and adults 18-34 at a 95% advantage, marking the 29th and 34th consecutive week that it has out-delivered The CW with Adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.

Driven by the Liga MX’s Necaxa vs. América soccer match, UniMás went beyond ABC's numbers by 26% and NBC by 6% on Friday night among Adults 18-34. UniMás also outperformed The CW for the entire night with double-to-triple digit audience advantages among viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34. The showdown between Necaxa and América delivered 466,000 viewers, 266,000 Adults 18-49, and 115,000 Adults 18-34. The game increased the network’s Friday 8:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. period by triple-digit margins week-over-week among all key demos. The soccer match also delivered audience growth to the time slot versus the same day last year among adults 18-34  by 61%.

UniMás’ Wednesday night airing of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union vs. Portland Timbers averaged 191,000 viewers. The game delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s Wednesday 8:00 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. time slot week-over-week by 57% and year-over-year by 16%) among adults 18-34.

On Saturday night, UniMás outperformed ABC among Adults 18-34 with a 6% advantage and Telemundo among Adults 18-49 with a 4% advantage, with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Next” and “CineNight: Enough," which delivered double-digit audience growth to the network’s 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. time slot week-over-week among adults 18-49 with a 12% advantage to 217,000. The movie helped increase the period by double-digits year-over-year among viewers by 66%.

On Sunday night, UniMás out-delivered FOX among individuals aged 18-34 with a 54% advantage with a movie line-up that included “Cineplex: Pacific Rim” and “CineMás: Need for Speed." The movie line-up increased the network’s 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. period week-over-week 18% to 94,000 for adults 18-34. The line-up also delivered double-digit audience growth year-over-year to the time slot among viewers by 10%.

UniMás’ weeknight 8 p.m. reality competition series, “Guerreros” increased its audience week-over-week among viewers by 4% to 289,000 and adults aged 18-34 by 19% to 81,000, the highest-rated weekly performance yet. The network reached the combined audience of Azteca, Estrella TV, and TeleXitos for the entire week during primetime with double-to-triple digit audience advantages with a 24% advantage. Adults ages 18-49 had a 100% advantage, and adults 18-34 had a 105% advantage.
