STARTIMES RENEWS OVER 50 EPISODES OF PRIME'S “HOLLYWOOD ON SET”

The cinema series will travel to Pan African region and this new deal marks over 10 years of successful partnership between the Chinese network and PRIME.

PRIME Entertainment Group has announced the renewal deal with broadcaster StarTimes for a package of 52 episodes of hit series “Hollywood On Set” (52 x 26’) to air in Pan African region. The cinema series goes behind the scenes to give you exclusive footage of the latest movies.

StarTimes group is one of the most influential technology provider, network operator, and content provider in China’s television broadcasting industry. With a global vision, StarTimes began to expand its business to Africa in 2002, and has been working closely with African governments to jointly promote digitalization and informatization. As of July 2019, the broadcaster operates in 30 countries and serves 26 million users.

This renewal deal marks over 10 years of successful partnership between the Chinese network and PRIME. Indeed StarTimes has been working with PRIME since 2010, acquiring several significant packages from the French producer and distributor, focusing mainly on PRIME’s cinema and entertainment related programs such as “Zoom In” (104 X6’30”), “Ultimate Countdown” (28X45’), “Close Up” (105x26’) which have been successfully aired on the network, as well as high volume of fitness programming including the series “Fitness First Class” (120x30’). “Hollywood On Set” is airing successfully on major TV networks as HBO, Viacom Paramount, SONY AXN.
