NATPE ANNOUNCES GLOBAL MEDIA LEADERS TO KEYNOTE AT JANUARY MIAMI CONFERENCE

Strong International Participation Expected as Pavilions and Masterclasses from Brazil, Spain, China, South Korea, U.K., Turkey, Japan, Africa, and Canada.

The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) announced the addition of big names from the international content community, including Banijay, all3media, Telemundo, Britbox, CBS, Canada Media Fund, and Kanal D who will speak at NATPE Miami Marketplace + Conference 2020 next year.  Further industry leaders are expected to be announced in the coming weeks as NATPE continues to commit to growing its place as a premier marketplace and conference for the global content community to connect. NATPE Miami is scheduled for January 21-23, 2020 at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami, Florida.

At the conference, Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Group – the largest independent producer in the world – will give a keynote speech kicking off  a collection of internationally-focused programming on Wednesday. Soumya Sriraman, President, Britbox will head a panel on streaming content from the U.K. Marcos Santana, President, Telemundo Global Studios will deliver a keynote as part of the popular Latin American Summit on Thursday. Armando Nuñez, President & CEO, CBS Global Distribution Group; Louise Pedersen, CEO, all3Media International; Kerim Emrah Turna, Executive Director, Kanal D International; and Valerie Creighton, President/CEO, Canada Media Fund will speak as part of the Global Distribution Opportunities keynote session to be moderated by NATPE Chairman, Andy Kaplan.

NATPE has also confirmed international exhibition pavilions from a variety of regions including to date Brazil, Spain, China, South Korea, U.K., Turkey.  The confab will host insightful masterclasses with representation from additional international regions including Africa, Japan, and Canada. More pavilions and masterclasses with an international focus are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
