New MF Yapim series, "Love is in the Air" took the top spot on Turkey's local ratings on Wednesday night for the seven-week in a row. The show achieved a 23,91% share and listed as a worldwide trend topic in Twitter covering Turkey, Spain, Chile, Italy, Brazil, and Argentina. The romantic comedy airs on Turkey’s top-rated FOX TV and is the summer’s most-watched scripted program in all categories since June among all the new titles.
"Love is in the Air" features Kerem Bursin (Heart Of The City, Sunshine Girls) as a corporate shark and Hande Erçel (Hayat, Black Pearl) as a beautiful free spirit. The two hate each other, but they must pretend to be a couple so each can get what they want. The new romantic comedy is only the latest hit from the creators of hit series "A Miracle", "The Teacher" and "Mother", "Woman". "Love Is In The Air" is aired on Wednesday nights on FOX TV under the Turkish title "Sen Çal Kapimi". The series is distributed to the international market exclusively by Madd Entertainment.
At "Love is in the Air" Eda is a bright, beautiful young woman working at a flower shop. She dreams of getting her degree and moving to Italy, but her dreams are shattered when the heir to the Bolat Holding Company cancels her scholarship so she has to drop out of University. Now only two things keep her going —her love of plants, and her hatred of Serkan Bolat. When Serkan comes to speak at the university, Eda is protesting outside. A series of unfortunate events leaves these two handcuffed together for most of the day when Eda learns that Serkan really is everything she hates: arrogant, self-centered, and a complete control freak. For his part, Serkan couldn’t care less, but when the media mistakenly link the two, he hatches a plan to use Eda to get back at the ex-girlfriend who dumped him and is now engaged to another man.
